Heather Sleichter, APRN FNP

Heather is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She grew up in St. Marys, KS and graduated from St. Marys High School. Heather graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2002, and then graduated from the University of Kansas with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2007. 

Heather decided to go into the health field after her twin brother was in a serious car accident at the age of 16 and spent most of that summer recovering. Her previous years in the health field include pediatrics, urgent care, family medicine and emergency care. 

She is married and has three children, and they live on a farm in Overbrook, KS! Most of her spare time is spent cheering on her kids on the sidelines, or outside working on the farm, gardening, and landscaping.

Pediatrics has always been a passion of hers, and she is so excited to be back working with children!
